Family Matters
Come see the how family matters and you must deal with what is most important. See how Hannah deals with her overbearing parents and her having to struggle to actually do what she loves. She gets the exciting opportunity to go to a soccer camp that she knows she will love and enjoy spending time with her page but her parents strongly believe that it is not for her and that she should definitely not seek after her dream and play soccer with her friends. See how her piano and other activities that her parents force her to do gets in the way of her friends and her being there for him.
Emily Kluckhohn is passionate in her work in Family Matters. She shows her feelings toward her parents being helicopter parents and shows sympathy for the children that are put in that situation. Trevor Behmke does an excellent job of being an overbearing father and is strong in his views that he is doing the right thing for his daughter. Kristin Blassingame does an excellent job of playing Teona, Hannah’s best friend. She makes the audience feel if you were actually in her or Hannah’s shoes and having to deal with what it would feel like to not be able to have your best friend around a lot of the time because of her parents.
This is an excellent play played by excellent actors and you need to go out and see it as soon as possible. If you like seeing real life theater that you can relate to and that you enjoy come see Family Matters. It will stir up emotions inside of though that you might suppress yourself in situations like this or you may know someone who does but keeps it to themselves. So come see this theatrical masterpiece Family Matters.
